Dec 2007 was when i forked out about a thousand to learn the stock market basics. Yeah, i honestly thought it was worth the money as i got equipped with basic knowledge needed to start out and i got to understand all the stock market jargon.
Did a few month of paper trading and i thought i was ready to start trading. March/ April 2008 got into trading with the little money i had on me, made a few profit, became overconfident and i ditched some basic principles of money management, lost the bulk of my money in only on trade, i was scared and upset.
Having stepped back and learnt from that experience, i might be ready to get back into stock trading, a lil bit more careful, also got the guys at IG index to upgrade my spread betting account so that i could be able to determine my stops and not dictate my stop at 10% which was way too far for risk.
I am not an expert and i do hope to use this medium to document my paper trades and proper trades when i start so i can get people to comment, give advise and then i could start giving people advice as well. It is not gonna be just stock market, this blog would be my pubic diary for everything ......
